Our Story
Michael and Louise Cardoza started this project in 2009, when they bought the old “Poor Farm” in Waverly, Alabama. The farm has a long history from many different eras, desperately begging to be preserved, and the Cardozas did just that. Little by little, the charm was restored, and the property was brought into a new era, making room in the farm's history for many more experiences and legacies to come. Auburn Bed and Breakfast at Shoofly Farm is the perfect combination of a rustic retreat getaway, and a modern, upscale bed & breakfast experience. Enjoy the best southern hospitality that will leave you wanting for nothing, in one of the area's most beautiful and serene locations. Come and stay for a while!
